OET (OET-LV)But the Petros and Yōannaʸs answering said to them:
Judge whether it_is right before the god, to_be_hearing from_you_all rather than the from_god.

OET (OET-RV) But Peter and Yohan answered, “You judge for yourselves whether it’s right in God’s eyes to listen to you rather than to him?

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / hendiadys

ὁ & Πέτρος καὶ Ἰωάννης ἀποκριθέντες εἶπον

¬the & Peter and John answering said

Together the words answering and said mean that Peter and John responded to the council. Alternate translation: “Peter and John responded”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

ὁ & Πέτρος καὶ Ἰωάννης ἀποκριθέντες εἶπον

¬the & Peter and John answering said

This could mean: (1) Peter and John each said different parts of the quotation in 4:19–20. (2) Peter spoke these words on behalf of both of them, since the Holy Spirit had inspired him to speak to the council in 4:8–12. Alternate translation: “Peter responded on their behalf”

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

εἰ δίκαιόν ἐστιν ἐνώπιον τοῦ Θεοῦ

whether right ˱it˲_is before ¬the God

Here the phrase before God refers to God’s opinion by association with the way that God would assess anything that came to his attention in front of him. Alternate translation: “Whether God thinks it is right”

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

ὑμῶν ἀκούειν μᾶλλον ἢ τοῦ Θεοῦ

˱from˲_you_all /to_be/_hearing rather than ¬the ˱from˲_God

Here, listen is an idiom that means “obey.” Alternate translation: “to obey you rather than God”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

4:1-22 Persecution was a common experience of God’s people throughout the Bible. God’s servants often faced hostility and opposition (Deut 30:7; 1 Kgs 18:13; Neh 4:1-3; Jer 37–38; Matt 23:34-37; Luke 11:49-51; 1 Thes 2:14-15). Jesus himself was persecuted (Luke 4:29; John 5:16), and he told his disciples to expect the same kind of treatment (Matt 10:23; 24:9; Mark 13:9; Luke 21:12; John 16:2), but he promised that the Holy Spirit would provide strength (Acts 1:8; Luke 12:11-12; 21:15). Acts records frequent times of persecution (Acts 4:3; 5:17-41; 7:54–8:3; 9:1-2; 11:19; 12:2; 13:50; 14:19; 16:19-24), but Acts also reiterates that the Holy Spirit empowers disciples to bear witness in such circumstances (2:44; 4:8-13; 6:10; 7:55). The boldness of Peter and John before the hostile high council exemplifies facing persecution with courage and power (4:20).

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Greek words that they’re translated from.
