Isaiah uses the word but here to indicate a contrast between the bloodshed that has already occurred and the additional judgment that Yahweh will bring. In your translation, indicate this contrast in a way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [For the waters of Dimon are full of blood, and yet I will put additions on Dimon: a lion for the escape of Moab and for the remnant of the land.]

Here, blood represents the death and violence that has taken place. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [flow with the blood of those who have been killed]

I_will_put/place & more

Here Isaiah is speaking on behalf of Yahweh, and so he uses the pronoun I. If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this as Isaiah speaking about Yahweh, and you could use Yahweh’s name instead of that pronoun. The UST models one way to do this. Alternate translation: [Yahweh will put additions]

Yahweh is referring to all the surviving Moabites by naming two major components, the escape of Moab and the remnant of the land. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [destruction for those who flee from Moab and destruction for those who remain in the land]

Here Yahweh is speaking as if the coming judgment were a lion that would attack the Moabites. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [destruction for those who would escape from Moab]
