Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / distinguish

οἵτινές εἰσιν Ἰσραηλεῖται

who are (Some words not found in SR-GNT: οἵτινές εἰσιν Ἰσραηλῖται ὧν ἡ υἱοθεσία καὶ ἡ δόξα καὶ αἱ διαθῆκαι καὶ ἡ νομοθεσία καὶ ἡ λατρεία καὶ αἱ ἐπαγγελίαι)

This phrase gives further information about “my brothers,” mentioned in the previous verse. If it might be helpful in your language, you could make the relationship between these phrases clearer. Alternate translation: [those brothers of mine are Israelites]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns

ἡ υἱοθεσία & ἡ δόξα & ἡ νομοθεσία & ἡ λατρεία & αἱ ἐπαγγελίαι

the adoption_as_sons & the glory & the lawgiving & the sacred_service & the promises

If your language does not use abstract nouns for the ideas of adoption, glory, law-giving, service, and promises, you could express the same ideas in another way. Alternate translation: [being adopted … glorious things … being given the law … serving … what has been promised]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

ἡ υἱοθεσία

the adoption_as_sons

Here, adoption refers to the idea that the Israelites were like God’s children. If it might be helpful in your language, you could express the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [the status as God’s children]

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

ἡ νομοθεσία

the the the lawgiving

Here, the law-giving refers to God giving his laws to the Jews. If it might be helpful in your language, you could state this explicitly. Alternate translation: [the giving of God’s laws to them]

Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

ἡ λατρεία

the the the the sacred_service

Here, the service refers to Jewish worship in the temple, which was a way of serving God. If it might be helpful in your language, you could state this explicitly. Alternate translation: [serving God in his temple]

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

9:4 Up to this point in Romans, Paul has called the Jewish people Jews. His shift to people of Israel, here and throughout most of chs 9–11, is significant. Jew connotes national identity, but Israel emphasizes the covenant relationship of the people with God.
• chosen to be God’s adopted children: The Old Testament called Israel God’s son or child to emphasize that God had selected Israel to be his own people (e.g., Exod 4:22; Jer 3:19; 31:9; Hos 11:1). Israel’s adopted status meant that they received God’s blessing and promises, not that they were necessarily saved.
• covenants: The Old Testament includes several covenants between God and the people of Israel: one with Abraham (Gen 17), one with the nation through Moses at Mount Sinai (Exod 19–24), and one with David (2 Sam 7:8-16; 23:5).
