ULT And it happened that, on the eighth day, they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to call him after the name of his father, Zechariah.

UST Eight days later, people gathered together for the ceremony to circumcise the baby to show that he belonged to God. This was also the time to give the baby a name. The people wanted to name the baby Zechariah because that was his father’s name.
