20:2-3 Jonathan was naive about his father’s intentions. David’s willingness to swear . . . by the Lord showed how convinced he was about Saul’s intentions.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / merism

(Occurrence 0) nothing either great or small

(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said to=him/it never!, not die see/lo/see! ל,ו doesn't father,my anything big/great or anything small and=not confiding DOM ear_of,me and,why hide father,my from,me DOM the,thing the=this not this(f) )

Jonathan uses this question to emphasize that Saul would have told him if he planned to kill David. If it would be helpful in your language, you could express this question as a statement. Alternate translation: “My father has no reason to hide this thing from me!” or “If this thing were true, my father would certainly let me know!”
