TSNTyndale Study Notes:

3:3 The priests were responsible for keeping the lamp of God burning through the night (Exod 27:20-21; 30:7-8).
• That Samuel was sleeping . . . near the Ark symbolizes his nearness to God’s presence and purpose, in contrast to Eli and his sons.

UTNuW Translation Notes:

(Occurrence 0) The lamp of God

(Some words not found in UHB: and,lamp ʼElohīm before/not_yet gone_out and,Samuel lying_down in=(the)_palace YHWH which/who there ark ʼElohīm )

This is the seven-candle lampstand in the holy place of the tabernacle that burned every day and through the night until it was empty.

(Occurrence 0) the temple of Yahweh

(Some words not found in UHB: and,lamp ʼElohīm before/not_yet gone_out and,Samuel lying_down in=(the)_palace YHWH which/who there ark ʼElohīm )

The “temple” was actually a tent, but it was where the people worshiped, so it is best to translate the word as “temple” here. See how you translated this in 1 Samuel 1:9.
