The pronouns they and them may refer either to the Israelites or to their enemies. The ambiguity may be intentional. If it is possible to maintain this ambiguity in your language, you may wish to do so. However, if you must clarify the reference and the context of your translation suggests the enemies are in focus, you could indicate this.
