OET (OET-RV) They provoked me with a non-god—
⇔ angered me by their worthless idols,
⇔ so I’ll provoke them with a ‘non-people’.
⇔ I’ll anger them by means of a foolish nation,
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism
Moses speaks a poetic song to the people of Israel. He continues to quote Yahweh’s words.

Here “me” refers to Yahweh.
(Occurrence 0) what is not god
(Some words not found in UHB: they they,have_made_me_jealous by,not god they,have_provoked_me_to_anger by,their_of,vanities and,I I,will_make_them_jealous by,not people by,a_nation foolish I,will_provoke_them_to_anger )
Alternate translation: [what are false gods]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
(Occurrence 0) worthless things
(Some words not found in UHB: they they,have_made_me_jealous by,not god they,have_provoked_me_to_anger by,their_of,vanities and,I I,will_make_them_jealous by,not people by,a_nation foolish I,will_provoke_them_to_anger )
You may need to make explicit what the “things” are. Alternate translation: [worthless idols]
(Occurrence 0) those who are not a people
(Some words not found in UHB: they they,have_made_me_jealous by,not god they,have_provoked_me_to_anger by,their_of,vanities and,I I,will_make_them_jealous by,not people by,a_nation foolish I,will_provoke_them_to_anger )
Alternate translation: [people who do not belong to one people group]
(Occurrence 0) foolish nation
(Some words not found in UHB: they they,have_made_me_jealous by,not god they,have_provoked_me_to_anger by,their_of,vanities and,I I,will_make_them_jealous by,not people by,a_nation foolish I,will_provoke_them_to_anger )
Translate “foolish” as in [Deuteronomy 32:6](../32/06.md).
32:21 roused my jealousy: The Lord was not petulant because of attention paid to false gods. Rather, Israel had broken their covenant with him by worshiping other gods, demonstrating their disdain for him and his sovereignty (see 32:16).
• people who are not even a people: God’s purpose for Israel was not just to redeem them, but through them to redeem all nations of the earth. In Israel’s eyes, other peoples were worthless, but through God’s attention to other nations, Israel would be drawn back to obedience (see Hos 1:9; 2:23; Rom 9:25; 10:19).
OET (OET-LV) They they_have_made_me_jealous by_not a_god they_have_provoked_me_to_anger by_their_of_vanities and_I I_will_make_them_jealous by_not a_people by_a_nation foolish I_will_provoke_them_to_anger.
OET (OET-RV) They provoked me with a non-god—

⇔ so I’ll provoke them with a ‘non-people’.
⇔ I’ll anger them by means of a foolish nation,
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
