The word Therefore introduces Jesus’ application of the parable he has given in [25:1–12](../25/01.md). If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a different word or phrase that introduces an application. Alternate translation: [Given that story] or [As what I have told you illustrates]

Other ancient manuscripts include after the word hour the words “in which the Son of Man comes.” If a translation of the Bible exists in your region, you may wish to use the reading that it uses. If a translation of the Bible does not exist in your region, you may wish to use the reading of the ULT.
