because_of (Some words not found in UHB: and=DOM the,ewe-lamb restore fourfold because_of which/who he/it_had_made DOM the,thing the=this and,on which/who not had_~_pity )
The author is describing one event, he did this thing, before describing another event that preceded it, he did not spare. If it would be helpful your language, you may wish to relate these events in the order in which they happened, as in the UST. Alternate translation: [because he did not spare but instead did this thing]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
לֹֽא־חָמָֽל
not had_~_pity
David is using the same term, spare, that Nathan used in his story. Nathan said that the rich man spared all of the animals in his flock and herd from being butchered, while David means that the rich man did not spare the poor man, that is, he had no pity on him but cruelly took his lamb and butchered it. Your language may have a term that you can use meaningfully in both places in your translation. If not, be sure that the meaning of spare in this verse is clear. Alternate translation: [he had no pity on the poor man]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
