OET (OET-RV) You’ll all celebrate there in front of Yahweh: you and your children and your servants, along with any Levites who live in your towns (because they don’t personally inherit any land of their own).

לִפְנֵי֮
to=(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before
See the Introduction to Deuteronomy for a discussion of the phrase “to the face of.” See how you translated this phrase in [verse 7](../12/07.md).

See how you translated the similar phrase “within your gates” in [5:14](../05/14.md). Alternate translation: [are within your community]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין ל֛וֹ חֵ֥לֶק וְנַחֲלָ֖ה אִתְּכֶֽם
(Some words not found in UHB: and,you(pl)_will_rejoice to=(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH God_of,your(pl) you(pl) and,sons_of,your(pl) and,daughters_of,your(pl) and,your(pl)_[male]_of,servants and,your(pl)_female_of,servants and,the,Levite which/who [is]_in,gates_of,your(pl) that/for/because/then/when not to=him/it portion and,an_inheritance with,you(pl) )
As explained in [Numbers 18:21–25](../../num/18/21.md), the Levites received tithes from the rest of the Israelites. Since the tithe is their inheritance, Yahweh did not allot any land to them. See how you translated the phrase “has no portion nor inheritance” in [10:9](../10/09.md). Alternate translation: [because Yahweh gave the tithe to them and they have no portion or allotment of land]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / genericnoun
ל֛וֹ
to=him/it
The word he represents any Levite in general, not one particular Levite. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a more natural expression. Alternate translation: [a Levite]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
