Note 2 topic: writing-politeness
הוֹשִׁ֖יעָה אֲדֹנִ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ
(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_was king Yisrael passing_by on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the,wall and,a_woman cried_out to=him/it to=say save, my=master the,king )
The woman is referring to King Jehoram by a respectful title, and she is using the customary expression of her culture to ask him to use his royal power to help her. (She is indicating specifically that she has a case that she wants the king to decide, as he recognizes and acknowledges in [6:28](../06/28.md) by asking her, “What is to you?”) Use a comparable title and expression from your language. If you have already translated the book of 2 Samuel, see how you translated the same expressions in [2 Samuel 14:4](../2sa/14/04.md). Alternate translation: [Help me, Your Majesty]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
