8:19-21 All creation includes animals, plants, and the earth itself. Paul follows Old Testament precedent (see especially Ps 65:12-13; Isa 24:4; Jer 4:28; 12:4) by personifying the created world.
• waiting eagerly . . . looks forward: Just as the entire world was harmed by Adam’s fall into sin, it will share in the blessings that God has promised his people (e.g., Isa 4:2, Rev 21:1-2).
In this section Paul said that the things that cause us suffering are only small compared to the glory that God will give us in the future, renewed world. The created world waits for God to reveal us, his adopted children, in our new bodies, because he will also renew the created world at that time. We and the created world groan waiting for that renewal. Paul then described what hope is.
The Holy Spirit helps us where we are weak. He also helps us to pray and intercedes for us. God causes all things to work for our good. He chose us to become like Jesus in word and deed, and become like him like a brother is like his brother. He chose us before the creation of the world, called us, made us righteous, and has glorified us.

It is recommended that you follow interpretation (1), because that seems to fit the context best.As in Moo (on TW) and Schreiner (page 433).
the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay: This clause speaks of creation as if it were a person who is a slave. It indicates that all things of this creation corrupt or decay. It cannot produce things that last forever.
Some languages cannot use this figure of speech. If that is true in your language, translate without the figure of speech. For example:

bondage: The Greek word refers to being a slave to someone or something. A slave must do what the master says. Here the creation always follows the way of corruption and so all the things of this creation corrupt or decay. Here are other ways to translate this word:

decay: This Greek word refers to what happens to things when they go bad, for example, meat spoils and wood rots. Here are other ways to translate this word:

the glorious freedom: The Greek words that the BSB translated as the glorious freedom is literally “the freedom of glory.” Here scholars understand the Greek grammar of the word “of” in a number of ways. A few scholars and many English versions think it means “described by” (as in the BSB). Other scholars think it means “belonging to” or “is associated with.” That would be the usual way to understand the use of the word “of” as in the ESV:
