BrTrAnd the young man answered Saul again, and said, Behold, there is found in my hand a fourth part of a shekel of silver; and thou shalt give it to the man of God, and he shall tell us our way.

ULTAnd the servant added to answer Saul, and he said, “Behold, one-fourth of a shekel of silver has been found in my hand. And I will give it to the man of God and he will tell us our way.”

USTThe servant replied, “Look at this! I have a small piece of silver. I can give this to him, and then he will tell us where to go to find the donkeys.”

9:8 A shekel is about 10 grams or about 0.35 ounces, so 1/4 shekel would be a small coin of about 2.5 grams.
