I,will_cut_them_in_pieces

The meaning of this phrase in Hebrew is unclear. It may read I would wipe them out. The ULT follows that reading. The Hebrew verb may also mean “I would sweep them away” or “I would cut them to pieces.” Other ancient Greek manuscripts read “I would scatter them.” If a translation of the Bible exists in your region, you may wish to use the reading that it uses. If a translation of the Bible does not exist in your region, you may wish to use the reading of the ULT.
