OET (OET-LV) And_master_of YHWH he_helps to_me on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so not I_have_been_humiliated on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so I_have_made face_of_my like_the_flint and_know if/because_that not I_will_be_put_to_shame.

(Occurrence 0) therefore I am not disgraced
(Some words not found in UHB: and,Lord_of, GOD helps to=me on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so not disgraced on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so set face_of,my like_the,flint and,know that/for/because/then/when not put_to_shame )
Even though the servant has been mistreated, he will not be ashamed because he has obeyed Yahweh. If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: “therefore I will not be ashamed”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche
(Occurrence 0) so I have made my face like flint
(Some words not found in UHB: and,Lord_of, GOD helps to=me on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so not disgraced on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so set face_of,my like_the,flint and,know that/for/because/then/when not put_to_shame )
Here “my face” refers to the servant. The servant being steadfastly determined to obey Yahweh is spoken of as if his face were as hard as flint. Alternate translation: “so I am absolutely determined” (See also: figs-metaphor)
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
(Occurrence 0) for I know that I will not be put to shame
(Some words not found in UHB: and,Lord_of, GOD helps to=me on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so not disgraced on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in yes/correct/thus/so set face_of,my like_the,flint and,know that/for/because/then/when not put_to_shame )
The servant looks to the future with confidence, secure in Yahweh’s calling. If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: “for I know that my enemies will not be able to make me feel shame”
50:7 Externally, the servant would be disgraced and put to shame, but within himself he would calmly await God’s vindication (see 29:22; 54:4; 61:7).
• set my face like a stone: The servant would be determined to do God’s will (see Luke 9:51).

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
