Isaiah is using son of as a common expression of the culture to indicate that a person has a certain characteristic. In this case, the person has the characteristic of being a foreigner, that is, someone who is not an Israelite. If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [the foreigner]
