25.17 Memento quæ. Tradunt Hebræi quod leprosos et semine fluentes, et alios extra castra positos interfecerit Amalec, et hos dicunt esse extremos agminis Domini. Amalec lingens sanguinem. Hi sunt dæmones qui nobis per baptismum de spiritali Ægypto exeuntibus adversantur, et in virtutibus extremos, et in itinere hujus vitæ lassatos peccata suggerendo student occidere. 25.17 Memento quæ. Tradunt Hebræi that leprosos and semine fluentes, and alios extra castra positos interfecerit Amalec, and hos dicunt esse extremos agminis Master. Amalec lingens sanguinem. They are dæmones who us through baptismum about spiritali Ægypto exeuntibus adversantur, and in virtutibus extremos, and in itinere huyus of_life lassatos sins suggerendo student occidere. 25:17 The Amalekites were tribal peoples who attacked Israel’s rear flanks during the Sinai wilderness wandering (Exod 17:8-16). They were apparently related to the Edomites (Gen 36:12).
