OET (OET-LV)And_he/it_said Gidˊōn to the_ʼElohīm not let_it_burn anger_your in/on/at/with_me and_speak only the_one_more let_me_put_to_the_test please only the_time//this_time in/on/at/with_fleece let_it_be please dryness to the_fleece by_herself and_on all the_earth/land let_it_be dew.

OET (OET-RV)Then Gideon said to God, “Don’t be angry with me, but can I ask one more thing. Let me put the fleece out this time, and let the fleece be dry, but wet all around it with dew.”

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

וַאֲדַבְּרָ֖ה אַ֣ךְ הַפָּ֑עַם אֲנַסֶּ֤ה נָּא־רַק־הַפַּ֨עַם֙

and,speak just the,one_more test please only the=time//this_time

Since Gideon has already done a test with the fleece once, by only this time he means, in both instances, “just one more time.” You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: “just one more time … just one more time”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns

יְהִי & חֹ֤רֶב אֶל־הַגִּזָּה֙ לְבַדָּ֔הּ

let_it_be & dry to/towards the,fleece by,herself,

If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of dryness, you could express the same idea in another way. See how you translated the similar expression in 6:37. Alternate translation: “may only the fleece be dry”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

6:36-40 The fleece incident was not a confirmation of God’s intention to use Gideon (which had already been established, 6:17-24), but God’s indulgence in responding to the reluctant hero’s uncertainty.
