OET (OET-LV) And_he/it_said Yōʼāsh to_all/each/any/every [those]_who they_stood on/upon/above_him/it you_all contend for_the_Baˊal or you_all save DOM_him [the_one]_who he_will_conduct_a_case to_him/it he_will_be_put_to_death until the_morning if [is]_a_god he let_him_conduct_a_case to_him/it if/because someone_has_torn_down DOM altar_his.
OET (OET-RV) “Are you all really fighting Baal’s battle for him?” Yoash replied to those standing against him. “Are you all really helping him? Whoever fights on his behalf should be be put to death while it is still the morning. If Baal is a god, then let him stand up for himself when someone tears down his altar.”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
אֲשֶׁר־עָמְד֨וּ עָלָ֜יו
which/who stood on/upon/above=him/it
This is a common expression that describes these people oppposing Joash in an argument. The emphasis is not on their body position, although they likely were standing around his house. The idea is that they wanted Joash to bring Gideon out to them, but he refused, so they were in opposition against each other. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: “who were arguing with him”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / rquestion
הַאַתֶּ֣ם ׀ תְּרִיב֣וּן לַבַּ֗עַל אִם־אַתֶּם֙ תּוֹשִׁיע֣וּן אוֹת֔וֹ
?,you_all contend, for_the,Baal if you_all save, DOM,him
Joash is using the question form for emphasis. If a speaker of your language would not use the question form for that purpose, you could translate these questions as statements or as exclamations. Alternate translation: “You should not have to contend for Baal! You should not have to help him!”
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרִ֥יב ל֛וֹ יוּמַ֖ת
which/who contends to=him/it put_to_death
Joash is saying implicitly that anyone who thinks he needs to act to defend Baal’s honor is suggesting that Baal is not powerful enough to defend his own honor, and that is being just as disrespectful to Baal as the person who tore down his altar. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: “Whoever contends for him is being just as disrespectful, and he is the one who deserves to die”
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis
עַד־הַבֹּ֑קֶר
until the,morning
Joash is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: “while it is still morning”
6:31 The first person to follow Gideon’s inspired act of leadership and abandon Baal for the Lord was Gideon’s father Joash, who was, ironically, the keeper of the Baal shrine.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
