BrTrThus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy has said against you, Aha, the old waste places are become a possession for us:

ULTThe Lord Yahweh says this: The enemy has said about you, “Aha!” and “The ancient high places have become our possession.” ’

USTThis is it: The enemies of Israel, those people groups who live nearby, are now very happy, because they are saying that Jerusalem has been destroyed, so the ancient mountains of Israel will now belong to them.
