UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism

(Occurrence 0) each male child who opens the womb, the firstborn

(Some words not found in UHB: that/for/because/then/when ones_being_given ones_being_given they(emph) to=me from,among sons_of Yisrael below/instead_of firstborn all/each/any/every womb firstborn all from=(the)_sons Yisrael taken DOM=them to=me )

These two phrases mean basically the same thing and are combined for emphasize the firstborn sons.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

(Occurrence 0) male child who opens the womb

(Some words not found in UHB: that/for/because/then/when ones_being_given ones_being_given they(emph) to=me from,among sons_of Yisrael below/instead_of firstborn all/each/any/every womb firstborn all from=(the)_sons Yisrael taken DOM=them to=me )

This is an idiom. “To open the womb” means to give birth for the first time. Here this refers to the first male child to which a mother gives birth. Alternate translation: “child who is the firstborn son of his mother”
