The words oppressed and afflicted are passive verbal forms. If it would be unnatural to use those forms, you could express the ideas in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [Others oppressed him, and they afflicted him]

Isaiah is using he did not open his mouth as a common expression of the culture to mean “he remained silent and did not protest.” If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and he stayed silent]

The point of this comparison is that just as a lamb does not resist when it is led away to be killed, so the servant did not resist when people led him away.
