OET (OET-RV) They won’t be rich and their wealth won’t endure,
⇔ ≈and their herds and flocks won’t spread across the land.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
וְלֹא־יָק֣וּם חֵיל֑וֹ
and=not endure wealth,his
See how you translated the term stand in 14:2. Alternate translation: “and his wealth will not remain”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
וְלֹֽא־יִטֶּ֖ה לָאָ֣רֶץ מִנְלָֽם
and=not spread in_the,earth possessions,his
See how you translated the similar expression in 1:10. Alternate translation: “and they will not have large herds of cattle” or “and he will not have large herds of cattle”
Note 3 topic: writing-pronouns
מִנְלָֽם
possessions,his
The pronoun their refers to wicked people. Since Eliphaz speaks of a wicked person in the singular in the first part of this verse, it may be more natural in your language to use the singular here as well. Alternate translation: “his possessions”
15:20-35 The wicked also suffer everything that happened to Job (see 1:16-19)—attacks by marauders (15:21), loss of possessions (15:29), crumbled houses (15:28), and fire (15:30, 34).
OET (OET-LV) Not he_will_be_rich and_not it_will_endure wealth_his and_not it_will_stretch_out in_the_earth possessions_his.
OET (OET-RV) They won’t be rich and their wealth won’t endure,
⇔ ≈and their herds and flocks won’t spread across the land.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Greek words that they’re translated from.
