UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: translate-unknown

חַרְטֻמֵּ֥י

magicians

See how you translated this term in 7:11.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

וַיֶּחֱזַ֤ק לֵב־פַּרְעֹה֙

and,hardened heart Farˊoh's

Pharaoh’s stubborn attitude is spoken of as if his heart were strong. If the heart is not the body part your culture uses to refer to a person’s will, consider using whichever organ your culture would use for this image. This is a neutral statement (it does not say that anyone caused him to be stubborn as many others in this part of the narrative do). See how you translated this in Exodus 7:13. Alternate translation: “Pharaoh was still defiant”

כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה

just=as he/it_had_said YHWH

Because Yahweh’s prediction precedes this event, some languages may need to place the reference to that prediction before the statement that it was fulfilled. See UST and how you translated this in 7:13, where the same sentence appears.
