and=he/it_ascended Avram from=Miʦrayim/(Egypt) he/it and=his/its=woman/wife and=all which/who to=him/it and=Lōţ with=him/it (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_ascended Avram from=Miʦrayim/(Egypt) he/it and=his/its=woman/wife and=all which/who to=him/it and=Lōţ with=him/it towards=the=south )

For many languages it is more natural to put the phrase to the Negev earlier in this verse. Do what is best in your language. Alternate translation: [Then Abram went up from Egypt and traveled back to the Negev Wilderness, along with his wife and everything that belonged to him. His nephew Lot also went with them]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

וַיַּעַל֩ אַבְרָ֨ם מִמִּצְרַ֜יִם

and=he/it_ascended Avram from=Miʦrayim/(Egypt)

The Negev Wilderness (or Desert) is northeast in direction from Egypt and is higher in elevation, so Abram went up from Egypt. Compare how you translated “down” in [12:10](../12/10.md) when Abram traveled in the opposite direction. Alternate translation: [So Abram went northeast from the country of Egypt] or [Then Abram departed from the land of Egypt]

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

13:1-7 This story is set in conflict amid God’s blessings. In the opening verses, Abram returns to a place where he had built an altar. Previous events are emphasized as Abram’s return to the land is described (13:3-4); Abram renewed his worship and again proclaimed the Lord’s name (cp. 12:8).
