Moses is using lifted his eyes as a common expression of his culture to mean “looked around.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [So Lot looked all around] or [Lot observed the land carefully]
Note 2 topic: translate-names

The word Jordan is the name of a river. The plain of the Jordan is the wide, flat valley through which the Jordan River flows between the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea. Alternate translation: [and he observed that the whole Jordan River Valley, all the way to the town of Zoar,]

See how you translated garden in Genesis [3:23–24](../03/23.md). This phrase refers to the Garden of Eden. You could put that information in a footnote.
OET (OET-LV) And_he_lifted_up Lōţ DOM eyes_of_his and_he/it_saw DOM all_of the_valley_of the_Yardēn/(Jordan) if/because_that of_it_of_all was_well-watered to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before destroyed YHWH DOM Şədom and_DOM ˊAmorāh/(Gomorrah) like_the_garden_of YHWH like_the_land_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) your(ms)_going Tsoˊar/(Zoar).
OET (OET-RV) Lot looked all around and saw that all the plain of the Yordan river valley was well-watered through towards Tso’ar, just like Yahweh’s garden had been before he destroyed Sodom and Amorah (Gomorrah), and like the land of Egypt.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
