God is using the present tense to describe something that is going to happen in the future in order to warn that the event could happen soon. If it would be clearer in your language, you could use the future tense. Make sure that the way you translate this clause does not make it sound like King Abimelech is already dead. Alternate translation: [Hear me warn you, you are a dead man]
