Also, a prophet is someone who speaks for someone else. In this case, Abraham serves as an intercessor and speaks for God and prays what God wants him to say ([verses 7](../20/07.md), [17](../20/17.md)). Avoid a translation of this term that focuses on telling the future, which is only one of the things that a prophet might do. Alternate translation: [He is a prophet for me]

The phrase all who belong to you refers to King Abimelech’s people, whom he referred to in [verse 4](../20/04.md). Make sure that is clear in your translation. Alternate translation: [you and all your people will surely die!] or [I will surely kill you and all your people!]
