OET (OET-LV)And_he/it_was just_as_I_raised my_sound/voice and_I_called_out and_he_left clothing_of_his beside_me and_he_fled to_the_outside.

OET (OET-RV)but when I yelled out, he left his cloak here and took off outside.”

uW Translation Notes:

וַיְהִ֕י כַּהֲרִימִ֥י קוֹלִ֖י וָאֶקְרָ֑א

and=he/it_was just,as,I_raised my=sound/voice and,I_called_out

See how you translated verse 15, which is similar to verse 18. Alternate translation: [But as soon as I shouted loudly] or [But when I shouted for help]

וַיַּעֲזֹ֥ב בִּגְד֛וֹ אֶצְלִ֖י וַיָּ֥נָס הַחֽוּצָה

and,he_left clothing_of,his beside,me and,he_fled to,the,outside

Consider again how you translated garment in verses 12-13, 15-16, 18. Alternate translation: [he left his tunic beside me and ran outside]

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

39:1–47:31 Joseph began as a slave, alienated from his brothers and separated from his father; he ended as Pharaoh’s viceroy. Through the trips to Egypt, the covenant family went from the brink of apostasy, divided by jealousy and deception, to being reconciled and united by Judah’s intercession and Joseph’s forgiveness.

39:1-23 Joseph’s integrity in Potiphar’s service contrasts with Judah’s moral failure (ch 38). God was with Joseph (39:2-3, 21, 23) and enabled him to prosper and be a blessing (see study notes on 12:1-9; 28:16-22) despite his slavery and imprisonment.

OET (OET-RV)but when I yelled out, he left his cloak here and took off outside.”

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
