OET (OET-LV)and he_saw two boats having_stopped by the lake, but the fishermen from them having_gone_out, were_washing the nets.

OET (OET-RV) he saw two boats at the edge of the water, but the fishermen had left the boats so they could wash their nets.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

ἔπλυνον τὰ δίκτυα

/were/_washing the nets

The implication is that they were cleaning their fishing nets to maintain them so that they could keep using them to catch fish. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could state that explicitly. Alternate translation: “and were washing their nets to keep them clean and in good working order”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

5:1-11 This is the first call of disciples recorded in Luke; Matthew and Mark recount a (presumably earlier) call of the four fishermen brothers (Matt 4:18-22; Mark 1:16-20). Jesus demonstrated extraordinary authority in the miraculous catch of fish and in his call of Simon Peter.
