The parallel passage in [1 Chronicles 13:6](../../1ch/13/06.md) explains that Baalah was another name for Kiriath Jearim. That was where the Box had remained since the Philistines returned it after capturing it, according to [1 Samuel 7:2](../../1sa/07/02.md).
