BSB And Ishmael son of Nethaniah went out from Mizpah to meet them, weeping as he went.
§ When Ishmael encountered the men, he said, “Come to Gedaliah son of Ahikam.”

OEB Ishmael went out from Mizpah to meet them, and they were weeping as they went along. When he meet them, he invited them to come to Gedaliah;

WEB Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went out from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all along as he went, and as he met them, he said to them, “Come to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam.”

NET Ishmael son of Nethaniah went out from Mizpah to meet them. He was pretending to cry as he walked along. When he met them, he said to them, “Come with me to meet Gedaliah son of Ahikam.”
