ULT In the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from Yahweh.[fn]

Although most Hebrew copies have Jehoiakim , most modern versions have Zedekiah , because the events in this chapter occur during his reign.

UST Soon after Zedekiah son of Josiah became the king of Judah, Yahweh gave a message to me.
