OET (OET-RV) “Take this baby,” said the princess, “and breastfeed him for me, and I’ll pay you for doing it.” So the woman took the baby and looked after him.
Note 1 topic: writing-participants
לָ֣הּ
to/for=her/it
The child’s mother is reintroduced as a participant. Use the natural form in your language for reintroducing a character. Alternative translation: “to the baby’s mother”
שְׂכָרֵ֑ךְ
wages,your
This refers to payment that Pharaoh’s daughter would give to the mother in exchange for her service of nursing the baby.
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
וַתִּקַּ֧ח & וַתְּנִיקֵֽהוּ
and=she/it_took & and,nursed,him
The mother’s acceptance of the deal is implied. You could make it explicit, as in the UST.
2:1-25 Chapter 1 established the need for rescue; ch 2 describes the preparation of Moses, the rescuer. God used the destruction of the Hebrew boy babies to ensure that the rescuer would be trained (see study note on 2:10) for his task.

OET (OET-RV) “Take this baby,” said the princess, “and breastfeed him for me, and I’ll pay you for doing it.” So the woman took the baby and looked after him.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
