OET (OET-LV) and_it_was in_the_day (the)_that YHWH he_will_beat_out from_the_flowing_stream_of the_river to the_wadi_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and_you(pl) you(pl)_will_be_gathered to_one one Oh_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
OET (OET-RV) Then at that time, Yahweh will thresh people
⇔ from the Euphrates river in the northeast to Egypt’s river down in the southwest,
⇔ and you Israelis will be gathered in one by one.
Note 1 topic: writing-newevent
וְהָיָה֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא
and=it_was in_the=day (the)=that
Isaiah is using the phrase translated as it will happen in that day to introduce a new event in the story. Use a word, phrase, or other method in your language that is natural for introducing a new event.
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
יַחְבֹּ֧ט יְהוָ֛ה
thresh YHWH
Here, when Isaiah says Yahweh will thresh, he is speaking as if Yahweh’s gathering of his scattered people were like a farmer separating grain from the chaff. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Yahweh will separate out his people]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / merism
מִשִּׁבֹּ֥לֶת הַנָּהָ֖ר עַד נַ֣חַל מִצְרָ֑יִם
from,the_flowing_stream_of the=river until wadi_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt)
Isaiah is referring to all of the territory where the Israelites are scattered by naming two extremes, the flood of the River and the stream of Egypt. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [from the Euphrates River in the east to the brook of Egypt in the west]
Note 4 topic: writing-pronouns
וְאַתֶּ֧ם תְּלֻקְּט֛וּ
and,you(pl) gathered
Isaiah is stating the pronoun you separately, even though the verb translated as will be gathered already includes this meaning. He is doing that to emphasize that the Israelites themselves will be the ones gathered. If a speaker of your language would use an explicit pronoun for the same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing the meaning here. Alternate translation: [and you yourselves will be gathered]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
תְּלֻקְּט֛וּ
gathered
The expression you will be gathered is a passive verbal form. If it would be unnatural to use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. If you need to say who does the action, the context indicates that it is Yahweh. Alternate translation: [Yahweh will gather you]
Note 6 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
sons_of Yisrael
Isaiah is speaking as if the descendants of the patriarch Israel were actually the sons of Israel. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [descendants of Israel]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
