Even though Isaiah is addressing Yahweh directly as you, he then refers to him in the third person as He. This is a shift in person that is common in prophetic poetry. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a consistent person throughout the verse. Alternate translation: [he contended with her. He removed her]
