OET (OET-LV) And_now not let_him_set my_master the_king to his/its_heart a_message to_say all_of the_sons_of the_king they_have_died if/because (if) ʼAmnōn for_him/it_being_alone he_has_died.
OET (OET-RV) So my master, don’t believe the report that all your sons are dead. It’s probably only Amnon who’s dead.

אַל־יָשֵׂם֩ אֲדֹנִ֨י הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ אֶל־לִבּוֹ֙ דָּבָ֣ר לֵאמֹ֔ר כָּל־בְּנֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מֵ֑תוּ כִּֽי־אִם־אַמְנ֥וֹן לְבַדּ֖וֹ מֵֽת
not (Some words not found in UHB: and=now not take my=master the=king to/towards his/its=heart report to=say all/each/any/every sons_of the=king dead that/for/because/then/when if ʼAmnōn for=him/it=being_alone dead )
If it would be more natural in your language, you could reverse the order of these phrases, since the second phrase gives the reason for the result that the first phrase describes. Alternate translation: [since only Amnon has died, may my lord the king not put the matter to his heart, saying, ‘All of the sons of the king have died.’]

אַל־יָשֵׂם֩ אֲדֹנִ֨י הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ אֶל־לִבּוֹ֙ דָּבָ֣ר

See how you translated the similar expression in [13:20](../13/20.md). Alternate translation: [may my lord the king not be distressed about the matter]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / 123person
אַל־יָשֵׂם֩ אֲדֹנִ֨י הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ
not (Some words not found in UHB: and=now not take my=master the=king to/towards his/its=heart report to=say all/each/any/every sons_of the=king dead that/for/because/then/when if ʼAmnōn for=him/it=being_alone dead )
Even though Jonadab is addressing David directly, he is speaking of him in the third person as my lord the king to show respect. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in a respectful form in the second person. Alternate translation: [may you, my lord the king, not put]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / quotesinquotes
לֵאמֹ֔ר כָּל־בְּנֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מֵ֑תוּ
to=say (Some words not found in UHB: and=now not take my=master the=king to/towards his/its=heart report to=say all/each/any/every sons_of the=king dead that/for/because/then/when if ʼAmnōn for=him/it=being_alone dead )
If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this so that there is not a quotation within a quotation. Alternate translation: [saying that all of the sons of the king have died]
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
