TSNTyndale Study Notes:

38:21-29 The immense amount of metal reported in this inventory of materials (more than a ton of gold, almost four tons of silver, and two and a half tons of bronze) reflects the Egyptians’ eagerness to get the Israelites out of Egypt, giving the Israelites anything they asked for in order to hurry them on their way (see 12:35-36).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive

כָּל־הַזָּהָ֗ב הֶֽעָשׂוּי֙

all/each/any/every the=gold the,used

If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: “All the gold that the craftsmen used”

Note 2 topic: translate-bweight

nine and=twenty talents and=seven hundreds and=thirty shekels in/on/at/with,shekel the,sanctuary

A talent is about 34 kilograms, and a shekel is about 11 grams. There were evidently shekels of more than one weight at the time; by the shekel of the sanctuary specified which one was to be used. See how you translated this in Exodus 30:13. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could express this in terms of modern measurements, either in the text or a footnote.
