Note: This view shows ‘verses’ which are not natural language units and hence sometimes only part of a sentence will be visible. Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed as a tool for doing comparisons of different translations. Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. The OET segments on this page are still very early looks into the unfinished texts of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check these texts in advance before using in public.

וּמִכָּל־הָ֠חַי מִֽכָּל־בָּשָׂ֞ר שְׁנַ֧יִם מִכֹּ֛ל תָּבִ֥יא אֶל־הַתֵּבָ֖ה
and,of,every_of the,living from=all flesh/meat two from=all bring to/towards the=box
Here, living creature refers to any kind of animal that lives and breathes. Alternate translation: [Also, from every kind of thing that lives, yes, from every kind of animal, you must take pairs of each kind into the ark] or [You must also bring into the ark pairs of every kind of living thing, that is, every kind of animal]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism
וּמִכָּל־הָ֠חַי מִֽכָּל־בָּשָׂ֞ר
and,of,every_of the,living from=all flesh/meat
These two phrases mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. Hebrew poetry was based on this kind of repetition, and it would be good to show this to your readers by including both phrases in your translation rather than combining them. It may be clearer in your language to connect the phrases with a word other than and in order to show that the second phrase is repeating the first one, not saying something additional. Alternate translation: [Also, from every kind of thing that lives, yes, from every kind of animal]
לְהַחֲיֹ֣ת אִתָּ֑ךְ
to,keep_~_alive with,you
Alternate translation: [in order to keep them alive with you]
זָכָ֥ר וּנְקֵבָ֖ה יִֽהְיֽוּ
male and=female be
Alternate translation: [They must be pairs with one male and one female each] or [Make sure that each pair has one male and one female]
