(Collegit furorem his_own in me, and comminans mihi, infremuit on_the_contrary me dentibus to_his_own: hostis mine terribilibus oculis me intuitus it_is. )

16.10 Collegit furorem suum. Diabolus, princeps falsiloquii, habet nunc contra Ecclesiam furorem, sed sparsus est, quia occultas tentationes per singulos movet. Cum vero contra eam accepta licentia aperte sævierit, furorem suum in eam colligit, quia in ejus afflictionem tota se intentione constringit. Qui contra eam dentibus fremit, eamque terribilibus oculis intuetur, quia per alios contra eam crudelia exercet, et per alios quæ exerceat providet.

16.10 Collegit furorem his_own. Diabolus, prince falsiloquii, habet now on_the_contrary Ecclesiam furorem, but sparsus it_is, because occultas tentationes through singulos movet. Since vero on_the_contrary her accepta licentia aperte sævierit, furorem his_own in her colligit, because in his afflictionem tota se intentione constringit. Who on_the_contrary her dentibus fremit, eamque terribilibus oculis intuetur, because through alios on_the_contrary her crudelia exercet, and through alios which exerceat providet.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

16:9-10 jeer and laugh at me: Job was the subject of mockery (cp. Ps 35:21; Isa 57:4; Lam 2:16; 3:46).
• To slap the cheek was less an act of violence (Ps 3:7; Mic 5:1) than an insult (1 Kgs 22:24; Isa 50:6; Lam 3:30; Matt 26:67).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: translate-symaction

פָּעֲר֬וּ עָלַ֨י ׀ בְּפִיהֶ֗ם

gaped at,me in/on/at/with,mouths,their

Opening the mouth wide at someone was a symbolic action that expressed ridicule. If there is a similar gesture in your culture, you could consider using it here in your translation. You could also indicate the meaning of this gesture. Alternate translation: “They open their mouths wide at me in order to ridicule me”

Note 2 topic: grammar-collectivenouns

בְּפִיהֶ֗ם

in/on/at/with,mouths,their

Since Job is speaking of many people, it may be more natural in your language to use the plural form of mouth. Alternate translation: “with their mouths”
