HAPHebrew accents and phrasing: See Allan Johnson's Hebrew accents and phrasing analysis.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

18:1-32 The instructions given here arose from the need demonstrated in ch 17 for clear boundaries between the people and the priests and Levites. The distinctive privileges of the Levites were matched by significant responsibilities. One very important aspect of their work was to safeguard the Tabernacle from unauthorized entry (ch 16).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

(Occurrence 0) you must give his contribution to Aaron the priest

(Some words not found in UHB: yes/correct/thus/so present also/even you_all offering_of YHWH from=all tithes_of,your_all's which/who receive from, sons_of Yisrael and,give from=him/it DOM offering_of YHWH to,Aaron the=priest/officer )

Here “his” refers to Yahweh. It was Yahweh’s contribution in the sense that they had to give it to Yahweh. Alternate translation: “you must give Aaron the priest the contribution that you owe Yahweh”
