Here Yahweh is speaking as if prosperity were light and adversity were darkness. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [then you will begin to prosper in the midst of your adversity]

וַ⁠אֲפֵלָתְ⁠ךָ֖ כַּֽ⁠צָּהֳרָֽיִם

The point of this comparison is that just as noon is the brightest time of day, so will the people’s gloom become bright.
