David is speaking to the women of Israel as if they could hear him. He is doing this to show in a strong way how he feels about Saul’s death. He is actually speaking to the people who can hear him, the people of Judah who will eventually learn this song. If this would not be clear to your readers, you could translate this as if he were speaking directly to those who could hear him. Alternate translation: [The daughters of Israel should weep for Saul, the one having clothed them in scarlet with delights, the one having put an ornament of gold on their clothing]
