Moses is referring to sexual relations with a father’s wife in a polite way by using the phrase take the wife of his father. Depending on what is helpful in your language, you could use a polite way of referring to this in your language or you could state this plainly. Alternate translation: [shall not marry his father’s wife] or [shall not have sexual relations with his father’s wife]

וְ⁠לֹ֥א יְגַלֶּ֖ה כְּנַ֥ף אָבִֽי⁠ו

(və⁠loʼ yəgalleh kənaf ʼāⱱiy⁠v)

Moses is using uncover the hem of his father as a common expression of his culture to mean “dishonor his father.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and he shall not dishonor his father’s marriage bed]
