Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / quotemarks

go (Some words not found in UHB: go and,you_will_say to/towards Ḩizqiyyāh thus he/it_had_said YHWH god_of Dāvid I_will_show=you(ms) I_heard DOM prayer_of,your seen DOM tear[s]_of,your here,I add on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in days_of,your five teen year )

There are three levels of quotation here. The author is quoting what Yahweh said (level 1). Yahweh is quoting what he wants Isaiah to say to Hezekiah. (level 2). This includes a quotation from Yahweh himself. (level 3). Use the appropriate punctuation in your language to mark these levels of quotation, in this verse and at the end of the next verse. Alternatively, you could translate this so that there are not second-level or third-level quotations.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / quotesinquotes

go (Some words not found in UHB: go and,you_will_say to/towards Ḩizqiyyāh thus he/it_had_said YHWH god_of Dāvid I_will_show=you(ms) I_heard DOM prayer_of,your seen DOM tear[s]_of,your here,I add on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in days_of,your five teen year )

If it would be clearer in your language, you could translate this so that there is not a quotation within a quotation. Alternate translation: [Go and tell Hezekiah that I, Yahweh, the God of David his father, have heard his prayer and have seen his weeping. I am going to add fifteen years to his life]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / 123person

יְהוָה֙

YHWH

Yahweh is speaking of himself in the third person because he is making a solemn declaration. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in the first person. Alternate translation, as in the UST: [I say]

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

אָבִ֔יךָ

I_will_show=you(ms)

Yahweh refers to David as Hezekiah’s father, though David was actually his ancestor several generations back. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [your ancestor]

Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

הִנְנִי֙ יוֹסִ֣ף עַל־יָמֶ֔יךָ חֲמֵ֥שׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה שָׁנָֽה

here,I add on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in days_of,your five teen year

Yahweh is using a common expression of this culture, Behold me, to indicate that he is about to do something. If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. See how you translated the similar expression in [37:7](../37/07.md). Alternate translation: [I am going to heal you]
