Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / infostructure
לְכִ֣י לְבֵיתֵ֑ךְ וַאֲנִ֖י אֲצַוֶּ֥ה עָלָֽיִךְ
go to,house_of,your and,I (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said the=king to/towards the=woman go to,house_of,your and,I give_orders on,you )
If it would be more natural in your language, you may want to put the information about the king’s command with the information about the woman going home. Alternate translation: [Since I myself will command concerning you, you may go to your house]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
וַאֲנִ֖י אֲצַוֶּ֥ה עָלָֽיִךְ
and,I (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said the=king to/towards the=woman go to,house_of,your and,I give_orders on,you )
The implication is that the king will take some action that will ensure that the woman and her son are protected. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [and I myself will take care of this matter for you]
Note 3 topic: writing-pronouns
וַאֲנִ֖י אֲצַוֶּ֥ה
and,I (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said the=king to/towards the=woman go to,house_of,your and,I give_orders on,you )
David is stating the pronoun I separately, even though the verb translated as I will command already includes this meaning. He is doing that because he is making a promise to the woman. If a speaker of your language would use an explicit pronoun for this same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing that David is making a promise. It may not be necessary to represent the separately stated pronoun explicitly. Alternate translation: [and I promise that I will command]
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
