43:13-16 The holiness of the Temple area would be maintained by keeping sinners out and by the sacrificial system. The importance of this aspect of Temple life is made clear by the detailed description of the altar of the inner court, which was located at the center of the entire Temple complex. The altar shown to Ezekiel was almost three times as long and wide as the altar in front of the Tabernacle (see Exod 27:1-8).
(Occurrence 0) The hearth

(Occurrence 0) four cubits
(Some words not found in UHB: and,the,altar_hearth four cubits and, from, the, hearth and,to,upward, the, horns four )
Each “long cubit” was about 54 centimeters. You may choose not to include this information if you give modern measurements instead of “cubits” as the UST does. See how you translated this in Ezekiel 40:5. Alternate translation: “about 2.2 meters”
(Occurrence 0) horns
(Some words not found in UHB: and,the,altar_hearth four cubits and, from, the, hearth and,to,upward, the, horns four )
The horns were the parts of the altar at the four corners of the altar that stuck up above the rest of the altar.
