Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. The OET segments on this page are still very early looks into the unfinished texts of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check these texts in advance before using in public.

(Don't to_do iniquum something in/into/on judgement, in/into/on regula, in/into/on by_weight, in/into/on measure. )
19.35 Nolite facere, etc. ISICH. Nolite facere, etc. In judicio mentis non debemus injuste agere, nec mensuras naturalis justitiæ corrumpere, aliter nostra, aliter proximi peccata judicantes. 19:35-36 dishonest standards: Merchants would sometimes use two different sets of weights, one heavy and one light (Deut 25:13-15), in order to cheat customers. The Bible makes it clear that this practice was abhorrent to God (Prov 11:1; 16:11; 20:10, 23; Mic 6:11).
