וְ⁠הָיְתָ֤ה בָבֶל֙ צְבִ֣י מַמְלָכ֔וֹת תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת גְּא֣וֹן כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים כְּ⁠מַהְפֵּכַ֣ת אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת־סְדֹ֖ם וְ⁠אֶת־עֲמֹרָֽה

and,it_will_be Bāⱱel glory_of kingdoms glory_of pride_of \add_>ones\add*_from_Kasdiy like,the_overthrow_of ʼElohīm DOM Şədom and=DOM ˊAmorāh/(Gomorrah)

The point of this comparison is that just as the destruction of God of Sodom and Gomorrah was complete and permanent, so will be the destruction of Babylon. If it would be helpful in your language, you could make this point explicitly. Alternate translation: [And Babylon, the glory of the kingdoms, the splendor of the pride of the Chaldeans, will be utterly destroyed, just as God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah]

צְבִ֣י מַמְלָכ֔וֹת תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת גְּא֣וֹן כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים

glory_of kingdoms glory_of pride_of \add_>ones\add*_from_Kasdiy

The terms glory and splendor mean similar things. Isaiah is using the two terms together for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. Alternate translation: [the most magnificent kingdom, about which the Chaldeans boasted]
